The Veritas Lego Robotics Team - the Veritas Lego Venturers - competed this weekend at the First Lego League Qualifier in Northborough, MA and earned First Runner Up on the Innovation Project, meaning they came in 2nd place, and the judges wrote this about how they choose teams for this award:
"This team utilizes diverse resources for their Innovation Project to help them gain a comprehensive understanding of their problem; has a creative, well-researched solution; and effectively communicates their findings to judges and the community." We could not be more proud! According to Noelle Pierce, “ this is the highest we have received in recognition of the work on the innovation project. Only 5 teams out of 30 from that qualifier move on, so it is an impressive showing by this young team. Congratulations Lego Robotics Team - Mason Berry, Jack Shelton, Lyle Brenneise, Violet Safari, Moses Carnes, Zachary Choi, George Ehrhorn, Sam Pierce, Andrew Zastoupil - and their incredibly dedicated leaders - Greg Dancer and Noelle Pierce, and parent volunteers, Sandy & John Choi and Greg Zastoupil!
