Each year, CIC partners with Boston Food Bank to serve local families facing food insecurity. Through Operation Turkey Express, CIC provides over 250 meals to help local families have a delicious Thanksgiving feast.
Our students were happy to lend a hand to help CIC prepare for Operation Turkey Express! The week prior to Thanksgiving, our students and families donated 250 boxes of cornbread mix. On Wednesday, November 15, the 8th graders unloaded a truck filled with food for local families in need. Meanwhile, other students created craft bags for children to enjoy with their meal.
