The Veritas Basketball teams have made a very positive impression on the Wayland Community, thanks to Mr. Jordan, whose focus is much more on unity on the team, group play and good sportsmanship.
One of the referees at the game, who also happens to be a retired Principal, has reached out to several parents and staff to say how impressed he is with the team, and especially with Mr. Jordan's coaching. He could see Mr. Jordan trying to hold his team back from running up the score, by having them pass 5 times before shooting, by making sure each player has the same court time, and by having the team make sure that every team member has a chance to shoot and score. How wonderful that this was not lost on observers, especially a referee. Great job Mr. Jordan!
