On Friday afternoons, after most staff and students have left for the day, a few students gather to tinker with Circuits to learn the basics of Electrical Engineering with Dr. Jim McClymonds. Through hands on “what if’s”, students explore what happens to a current at various resistances? What happens when resistance is increased or decreased? How can you create amplitude modulated radio waves (AM radio)? Dr. McClymonds patiently coaches students through trial and error as they experiment with different approaches.
