BIG Heart of Ideas!

Veritas flipped Giving Tuesday on it's head, and spent the day giving, and learning. We engaged in conversation about hunger, homelessness, and foster care. Students brainstormed ways they could make a difference. During Thanksgiving break, families collected items for 3 local organizations making an impact on children and families in need. They colle

cted clothing and toiletries for The Foster Box, children's books to be offered alongside the CIC Food Panty, and warm socks and mittens for the Pine Street Inn. Students sorted and packed hundreds of pieces of clothing and toiletries, over 800 books, 5 bins of warm socks and 20 winter jackets.
