We would like to congratulate alumni Erica Brown on being accepted to Brown University! Erica Brown graduated Veritas in 2018, and went on to Montrose School. At Montrose, Erica is co-editor of her student newspaper, The Looking Glass. She enjoys writing articles about politics and social justice. This year, Erica was also the American Chemical Society Northeastern Division Illustrated Poetry Contest winner for her original poem, “the power of heat.” Outside of school, Erica also loves reading, painting, and baking cookies with her brothers. Erica's mom, Sally Brown, called on her behalf and said Erica wanted to thank all of her Veritas teachers for the incredible foundation she received.
