3rd GRADE CLASS PRESIDENT

Allison Smith knows how to build community, responsibility and FUN!

The Third Grade holds monthly Class President Elections, with 4 candidates selected to run for president. Candidates create campaign posters and talk with the class to find out how to best lead 3rd grade. Students can ask their candidates questions during a "debate". The 3rd grade citizens then vote on ballots for their choice for president.

The Class President has many responsibilities, including following up on his or her campaign promises - such as bringing in popsicles - and being a role model for the class. We think this is an excellent way to learn! Congratulations to Brian, the first elected 3rd Grade Class President of 2021-2022!
